Unlike sworn translation, technical translation is not a legal document. In other words, there is no need for any type of seal, stamp, or signature of the translator recognized by a notary. So, technical translation can be sworn or not. Therefore, the main documents that normally require this translation are manuals, guides, leaflets, theses, and dissertations, among others.
